Coast Guard Auxiliary Association (CGAuxA)
and the Auxiliary
The Association and the Auxiliary offer you a number of ways that you can help with their important mission in Safety, Security and protecting the Homeland.
Individuals who are at least 17 years old, are U.S. Citizens, and have not been convicted of a serious felony may apply for Membership in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary to serve as a volunteer and participate directly in Auxiliary programs.
Those who do not have the time or desire to actively participate in the Auxiliary may elect to become Associate Members in the Association. Associate Members provide monetary contributions that qualify them for various categories of membership and benefits.
The contributions they make are used to support the various Auxiliary programs.
You may also make a direct Donation to the Association to show your support for the volunteers of the Auxiliary and the vital missions they perform for their communities and nation.
Why Contribute
Supporting the Auxiliary is a unique opportunity for you and your associates to develop the warmth of feeling and pride of patriotism that come from assisting the U.S.Coast Guard Auxiliary to serve our country in a time of potential national crisis.
Many new members of the 36,000 volunteer member U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary joined after the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon because they wanted a way in which they could help their country in its time of need.
How to Contribute
Now, you have a similar opportunity by making a financial donation to the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association Inc. (CGAuxA.) Because the Auxiliary is an all-volunteer organization, 100 percent of donated funds will be used to support the Auxiliary.
